Hospital intranet

Staff at the Tonnerre Hospital Centre needed a central internal tool: look up a number in the directory, order supplies or manage a travel request.

It was my first internship, in 2021.

Deliver, in four months, a simple and robust intranet that every profile at the hospital could use without specific training.

The tool had to rely on the hospital’s MySQL database and bring together three needs that had been scattered until then.

I built a PHP website connected to the hospital’s MySQL database, organised in three modules: phone directory, supply orders and travel requests.

The scope was deliberately limited to these three uses so that, within the four months of the internship, the result would be a complete tool rather than a draft.
