Héritage & Clés, a holiday rental booking platform

Héritage & Clés is a concierge service based in Auxerre, in the Yonne, that manages short-term rentals and services for property owners. It needed its own platform to showcase its properties and take bookings directly.

I built the project from October 2025 to April 2026: a public website with a back office, then a mobile app built on the same APIs.

Online booking involves money at every step: payment, cleaning and service fees, promo codes, security deposit, cancellation and refund. Everything had to be computed server-side and stay consistent with Stripe.

The properties are also listed on other platforms. Double bookings had to be avoided, and three distinct audiences had to be served: guests, owners and administrators.

I built the website with Next.js and Supabase: property search by availability and location, a booking flow that temporarily holds the dates, Stripe payment, a security deposit held as a 7-day pre-authorisation with an automatic reminder, tiered promotions and synced refunds. iCal sync imports and exports external calendars, and an Airbnb mode sends some properties to their listing.

The back office manages properties, photos, amenities, owners, legal pages, articles and events, with a Tiptap editor and transactional emails through Resend. The Expo app covers the guest, owner and admin journeys, with a push notification for every new booking.
