Telehealth platform

Mediapilote wanted to launch a web platform dedicated to telehealth: connecting patients and practitioners over video, with a simple journey that meets the requirements of the medical sector.

The project started from a blank page. Before writing a line of code, the scope had to be defined with the team: who books appointments, who can access which record, and how a consultation runs from start to finish.

Two requirements pulled in opposite directions. On the back end, the platform had to be reliable: appointments, records and calls, with no information lost. On the interface side, it had to stay clear for patients who are often not comfortable with digital tools.

Two distinct journeys, patient and practitioner, also had to live side by side in the same product without one complicating the other.

I co-wrote the specification with the team, then produced the Figma mockups, validated before each iteration: journeys were settled on mockups, not in production.

On the technical side, Symfony carries the business logic (appointments, accounts, records), Node.js handles the real-time part of the calls, and React serves both interfaces, patient and practitioner. A MySQL database centralises the data.
